Documentation and descriptions of Trans-Himalayan languages (Tibeto-Burman, Sino-Tibetan) spoken in Nepal in collaboration with community members: Himalayan languages (Magar, Chepang, Bhujel, Khamci, Bhoto) – Linguistic typology – Historical linguistics and phylogeny – Verbal systems of Himalayan and Trans-Himalayan languages in a synchronic, comparative, and diachronic perspective
